Liverpool legend John Aldridge says they must not take Watford lightly this weekend.
The Reds are unbeaten in the Premier League after 12 games with Jurgen Klopp's charges having developed an ability to grind out victories, conceding just five goals this term.
"It's a real banana skin for Liverpool at Vicarage Road on Saturday," Aldridge wrote in the Liverpool Echo.
“Watford have had a decent start to the season and they will have seen what Red Star Belgrade did to us a few weeks ago.
"We got out-fought over there and Watford will try to do the same.
“We have to be ready for a real battle and stand up to that physicality much better than we managed in Serbia.
“They're a big, strong team and will try to overpower us. We can't allow that to happen.
“We've had a great start to the season but this period now is absolutely crucial."
