Liverpool leave Blackburn transfer decision to Elliott

Blackburn Rovers are in talks with Liverpool for Harvey Elliott.

Blackburn are keen on signing Liverpool winger Elliott on loan.

The Reds are willing to let the 17-year-old move to the Championship side and a decision is set to come down to the player, reports BBC Sport.

Elliott's one appearance for Jurgen Klopp's side this season came in the 7-2 EFL Cup win at Lincoln.

With the Reds out of the Carabao Cup, Elliott 's chances of first-team minutes look increasingly slim following Xherdan Shaqiri's decision to stay and the arrival of Diogo Jota from Wolves.

Reds forward Ben Woodburn, 21, is set for a loan move to League One side Blackpool, who are managed by former Liverpool Under-23s boss Neil Critchley.
