Liverpool keeper Karius: Man City and Hart great for me

Liverpool goalkeeper Loris Karius says he values his time with Manchester City.

Liverpool are Karius' second Premier League side, following on from the two years he spent at Manchester City during the formative stages of his career.

The 24-year-old was a teenager when he left City for Mainz in 2011 and he explained how England international Joe Hart was a big influence on him during his time in Manchester.

He said: "I played for the U18s and the reserves and was training every day with the first team really, with Joe Hart who was a great guy and helped me a lot back then.

"He was a great role model and I don't really regret anything."
