Liverpool goalkeeper Loris Karius is progressing well in his recovery from a broken hand.

The German, who suffered the injury in a pre-season game against Chelsea, has confirmed that he has resumed training in the gym by posting a video on his Instagram account with the caption: 'Well, any good comeback needs countless gym hours first.'

The 23-year-old joined the Reds in a £5million move from Bundesliga club Mainz in June.
