Liverpool keep close tabs on West Ham midfielder Bowen

Liverpool are keeping close tabs on West Ham United midfielder Jarrod Bowen.

The Liverpool Echo says Bowen, 24, has emerged as one of the key players in West Ham's remarkable run to fourth in the Premier League and into the last 16 of the Europa League, scoring four goals in all competitions.

Klopp's side scouted Bowen last season and he made it on to a last of attacking options.

But they decided against making a move after unexpectedly keeping hold of Divock Origi after no serious bids came in for the Belgian.

But he is not expected to stay at the club long term due to a lack of first team opportunities, even though he signed a five-year deal in 2019.
