Liverpool are interested in signing Bordeaux forward Francois Kamano.

The Reds have been quiet in the transfer market this summer, but they could spring into action with less than two weeks left before the start of the Premier League season.

Jurgen Klopp is interested in Kamano as a backup to their first choice attackers, according to The Sun.

The 23-year-old is available for a modest fee, while he would add to the squad depth available to Jurgen Klopp for the coming season.

The Guinea international would be happy to move, even if he understands that he would not have an easy path to a regular starting spot at Liverpool.
