Liverpool are interested in Athletic Bilbao attacker Nico Williams.

Williams is the younger brother of Athletic star Inaki Williams. While both brothers qualify for Spain, they have committed their international futures to Ghana.

AS says Liverpool are watching Nico's progress closely.

The young attacker recently won a new deal at Athletic, which included his buyout clause rising from €40m to €50m.

After their lightening tournament appearance in Germany last week, new Athletic coach Ernesto Valverde said of Williams: “He is fast, a player you like to watch, we have to get more out of what his unchecking produces and he must be more accurate in the last metre."
