Liverpool are being linked with PSG fullback Thomas Meunier.

French media sources, report the London Evening Standard, say Liverpool have opened talks with Meunier over a move to Anfield.

The Belgian is due to be a free agent at the end of the season and would therefore be a cheap option to provide cover for Trent Alexander-Arnold.

At present, the Englishman is Jurgen Klopp's only recognised senior right-back, with the likes of Joe Gomez and James Milner having occasionally deputised, while youngster Neco Williams has also featured.

For his part, Meunier would favour a move to England if given the choice.
