Borussia Monchengladbach midfielder Florian Neuhaus is back on the agenda of Liverpool.

Sport1 says Liverpool are in talks with the agents of Neuhaus.

The Reds are keen to sign the 24-year-old as a replacement for Gini Wijnaldum.

However, the €40million release clause Neuhaus previously had in his contract is said to have expired.

The situation means Gladbach can price Liverpool out of a deal if they wish to keep hold of the midfielder.
