Liverpool are in advanced talks to sign Notts County prospect Jack Bearne.

The Mirror says the Reds have agreed a £150,000 deal with the hard-up League Two club for 15-year-old Bearne.

It is claimed County have been issued a winding up petition by HMRC and have debts in excess of £500,000.

The sale of Bearne will add much-needed funds to the club's coffers.

Bearne is a hot prospect and made his Under-18 debut earlier this season at the age of 14.
