Liverpool icon John Aldridge was pleased with their clean sheet in their win at West Bromwich Albion.

Aldo wrote in the Liverpool Echo: "We've got some massive games coming up at the end of the month and we need to be able to grind results out.

"Daniel Agger was really impressive. He's so comfortable on the ball and I thought he was our best defender.

"Jamie Carragher should be fit for the Swansea game on Saturday so the manager has a selection headache.

"Agger is a nailed on starter for me so it's either Carra or Martin Skrtel alongside him.

"Skrtel did what he had to do on Saturday but everyone knows what Carra brings to the team.

"As a manager, you want people fighting for places so players know when they get a chance they need to make it count."
