Liverpool icon John Aldridge feels they're capable of finishing in the top four.
Aldo wrote in the Liverpool Echo: "I heard Brendan (Rodgers) talking after Sunday's game about how close Liverpool are to the top four now, and how we have got ourselves there without hitting top, top form.
"He's spot on. The gap is four points to fourth place now, and Liverpool have some really good fixtures to come in the next few weeks.
"I've said all along that fourth is there for the taking this season. Arsenal, Tottenham, Everton, even Chelsea, there are no outstanding teams among those. Liverpool have a bit of momentum right now, so they should be looking to make serious inroads over the next few weeks, and hopefully head into the crucial month of January in a great position."
