Liverpool hero Steve McManaman is delighted seeing Roberto Firmino back amongst the goals.
McManaman insists the Brazil striker should never have been questioned while he was struggling earlier in the season.
"It is unbelievable, the fact that he was, not criticised, but really questioned in his ability and whether he should be in Liverpool's starting eleven. Yes, Diogo Jota came in and had a flying start to his career in Liverpool, but people almost put this man out on pasture," he told BT Sport.
"And he bounced back by scoring a great goal against Tottenham. He was exceptional (against Crystal Palace). It was not just his goal, it was his all-round play, the link play, his assist. The fact that he settled the match with a couple (goals) himself was brilliant."
