Liverpool great Graeme Souness is stunned by the team's slide this season after defeat at home to Everton.

Souness says the current side is "a shadow of the team" Liverpool have been in the last few years and described them as "an easy touch".

"As a Liverpool supporter I'm deeply disappointed with my team," the Sky Sports pundit said.

"It didn't look like they had any energy or real fight, or real aggression about them, and the best team got the points.

"I think it is a shadow of the team Liverpool have been for three years. Now everyone wants to play against them, they are an easy touch. That hurts me, to say that."
