Liverpool goalkeeper Danny Ward interesting Norwich

Liverpool goalkeeper Danny Ward is interesting Norwich City.

The Liverpool Echo says Ward is a target for Championship side Norwich.

The Canaries had Manchester City's Angus Gunn on loan last season, but with the 22-year-old returning to his parent club, they have now turned their attentions to Ward.

Norwich sporting director Stuart Webber was the man who brought Ward to Huddersfield during his time with the Terriers, with the Welshman helping them to the Premier League via the play-offs in 2017.

He made just one appearance for the Reds last season and could be keen to taste first-team action once more. His contract with Liverpool runs until 2021, however, so a loan move would be the most likely option for Daniel Farke's men.
