Liverpool goalkeeper Alisson Becker has revealed how manager Jurgen Klopp joked about his gaffe at Leicester City earlier this season.

Klopp reacted furiously to his goalkeeper's mistake on the sidelines but composed himself by the time the game finished.

And Alisson says he 'started joking' about the incident in the dressing room, before telling him not to let it effect his confidence or desire to play out from the back.

“[After Leicester] he came into the dressing room and started joking," he told Gazzetta dello Sport.

“He dealt with it in the best way possible, since I already knew I'd embarrassed myself.

“Then he told me not to lose faith and to carry on playing that way."
