Liverpool goalkeeper Alisson: We love it when Klopp freaks out

Liverpool goalkeeper Alisson has revealed how manager Jurgen Klopp convinced him about a move to Anfield.

The Brazilian No1, 26, claims a personal phone-call from the passionate German was all it took to make him realise Anfield was the place for him.

The former Roma keeper revealed: “I started to study the club and when it got more official and Klopp called me, he explained the whole project to me.

"Without a doubt, it influenced my decision greatly. His transparency is what makes him who he is.

"He is passionate for football, he has a great desire for victory and winning titles, and has always fought excellent campaigns.

“He was a champion with Dortmund, he made it to the final of the Champions League and did the same here.

"Unfortunately, they were not able to win the title but he is a very passionate man."

Alisson continued by claiming he still loves Klopp's enthusiasm, saying it's "great" watching him go mad at his side's goals.

“He freaks out when he celebrates a goal and everyone sees that. He celebrates goals in the same way, regardless if it's the first, second, third, fourth or fifth goal.

"He celebrates the same way, in fact, he might even celebrate the fifth goal more than the first!

“When he ran on the pitch it was obviously meaningful because it was in a derby and the goal was scored in the final minute, and in that way.

"I think everyone wanted to go crazy at that moment, and even I was shocked when I saw him.

"It was great! It wasn't so great that he had to pay a fine, but I think it was worth it."
