Liverpool have gone cold on signing Lyon midfielder Nabil Fekir, it has been claimed.

Le Progres says Liverpool's move for Nabil Fekir is completely dead, reports Le Progres - but other parties could be set to move.

The Reds remain admirers of the French international, whose Anfield move fell through before the World Cup.

It had been claimed that they could make a move late in the window, but it's reckoned that they have no pulled their interest completely for this summer.

OL president Jean Michel Aulas said last week: "He's one of the best in France – and in the world, since he's a world champion. He's a Lyonnais [player], so he'll be there next season.

"Although in football, nothing is ever certain. I haven't had the impression that he absolutely wants to leave."
