Liverpool give stern reply to Leeds, Monaco over Minamino approach

Liverpool have rejected an approaches for Takumi Minamino from Leeds United and Monaco.

The Japan international has started only six games this season, four of which came in the Carabao Cup.

However, PA News Agency reports that both approaches were rejected by the Reds.

Despite being behind Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane, Roberto Firmino and Diogo Jota in the pecking order, Minamino is viewed as an important player at Anfield.

Reds boss Jurgen Klopp needs all of their squad as they are still competing on four fronts.
