Liverpool fullback Andrew Robertson expressed his frustration with VAR after their 1-1 draw at Brighton.
The Reds had two goals ruled offside after checks by the video officials.
But it was in injury time when the real talking point occurred, as Andy Robertson was adjudged to have fouled Danny Welbeck.
The incident went unnoticed as play progressed, but VAR scrutiny led to a penalty being awarded after the Liverpool man clipped the Brighton striker's foot as he swung his right boot at the ball.
Pascal Gross stepped up to slot the spotkick and cancel out Diogo Jota's opening strike.
Tweeting after the result, Robertson said: "Wonder when the people playing the game will have a say! Very frustrating day but credit to Brighton, really tough opponent!"
