Liverpool and Scotland full back Andy Robertson is okay with being his country's scapegoat.
With the Scots failing to get anything from games against Russia and Belgium, some fans singled out Robertson for their ire.
The fullback may be frustrated at being pinpointed after every national team loss, but he understands the circumstances given his profile at club level.
"That's something you have to deal with when you go up there," he said to reporters about the situation with Scotland after Liverpool's Premier League win over Newcastle.
"Darren Fletcher dealt with it for ten, 12 years when he was at the top at Manchester United and now I'm facing it.
"That's something I have to deal with up in Scotland and I need to deal better with."
