Liverpool fullback Andy Robertson says that he will not think about his Champions League win until he retires.
The Reds could be forgiven for continuing to celebrate their achievement from last season, when they beat Tottenham in the final to lift their sixth European Cup.
But Robertson and the rest of the Liverpool team are only looking forward as the new season begins.
"The day we came back it wore off for us," the 25-year-old said to reporters.
"For us the first day we came back it's really forgotten about until we retire. Then we can sit back and say, 'OK, we won the Champions League', that's a real achievement in a career.
"The focus now needs to be on winning more trophies, because that Champions League is now in the past.
"We don't want to be the team that only won one trophy – of course it's a big one, but we want to be a team that wins a host of trophies."
