Liverpool forward Sturridge says he's not worried about Reds future

Liverpool striker Daniel Sturridge says that he is not worried about his future at the Merseyside club.

The injury-prone striker has managed only six league starts this season, and many have backed him to move to a different club in the summer.

However, the 27-year-old insists that he still has the faith of his manager Jurgen Klopp.

He said: "The manager has shown faith in me and we have a good relationship as well.

"I felt sharp. I'm glad to be starting and glad to be providing some chances for the boys as well and it's a great victory for us.

"It's important for everyone at the club. We've been good the last few weeks but maybe we should have taken more points in some of the games."
