Liverpool forward Naby Keita returned from injury in Guinea's 2-2 draw with Madagascar in their African Cup of Nations opener.
The midfielder hadn't featured since limping out of the 3-0 defeat to Barcelona on May 1.
Keita was expected to miss the tournament entirely, however, a speedy recovery led him to feature against Nicolas Dupuis' side.
The former RB Leipzig man came on as a second-half substitute for Mady Camara shortly after the hour mark.
However, he was unable to inspire Paul Put's side to victory with Francois Kamano's penalty tying the game.
