Liverpool forward Roberto Firmino has spoken publicly for the first time after deciding he would be leaving the club in the summer.
The veteran striker, who scored in a 7-0 win over Manchester United on Sunday, outlined his reasons for calling time on his Anfield career.
Firmino was part of a fearsome front three with Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane for many seasons under boss Jurgen Klopp.
“What a special day today," he wrote on Instagram.
“I'm so grateful to God for giving me this moment!
“What a joy to feel the affection and love of my teammates and of all the fãs (fans)… YNWA."
