Liverpool fans march on Downing Street over Hillsborough tragedy

On Saturday families of Hillsborough victims have marched on Downing Street to demanding a fresh criminal investigation into the tragedy, reports Sky News. The march, organised by the 'March4Justice' campaign, delivered a petition with more than 39,000 signatures.

It asks the Prime Minister to investigate whether criminal charges can be brought against those responsible for the tragedy of 96 Liverpool fans being crushed to death.

They are also calling for the release of 300 boxes of information on the tragedy that have been kept from the public eye.

If the files are not released early, they will not become public for another decade.
