Liverpool facing huge £55M loss in TV revenue

Liverpool will face a huge £55m loss in TV revenue if the Premier League season is voided.

And that is an option officials could take as the coronavirus crisis continues to grip the nation.

The Premier League is set to be hit the hardest in a loss in TV revenue with the competition broadcast across the world.

It comes amid news that Burnley could go bankrupt if the league voids the season.

They stated that the Clarets face missing out on payments up to £45m, a situation several Prem clubs face.

The Daily Mail report that Liverpool are facing a drastic drop in funds.

In the event the season would be annulled, the Reds would receive around £123m.

That is a drop from £178m, while at the other end of the table Norwich's payment would go from £94m to £79.5m.
