Liverpool are tracking Sporting Lisbon midfielder Diego Capel.

Sportmediaset says the Reds have been alerted to Capel's availability at Sporting as they attempt to balance the books.

The Spain international moved to Sporting from Sevilla and his form has brought him to the attention of Liverpool scouts.

The Reds have been actively scouting Sporting talent and also are eyeing teammates Jeffren Suarez and Ricky van Wolfswinkel.
