Liverpool, Everton go for Birmingham prospect George Hall

Liverpool and Everton have joined the race for Birmingham City prospect George Hall.

Birmingham City boss John Eustace admitted this week that keeping hold of the 18-year-old midfielder will be a top priority, says the Mirror.

Leeds have already been linked while now the Merseyside giants are now keeping tabs on the teenager who has also represented England at under-18 and 19 level.

Liverpool have been hugely impressive in tapping into the best young talent in the country and could face losing Naby Keita and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain this summer.

Everton have also been looking to recruit youngsters to bolster their future success.

Birmingham have gained a reputation for producing young players after the incredible rise of Jude Bellingham who has starred for England at the World Cup.

Hall has made huge strides this season and has become a first team regular at St Andrews.

Eustace told local radio this week: “"We're delighted with his progress. He's a top young player. But all I want to do is to keep on developing George in the right way, which I think we have done so far."
