Barcelona intend to put Ousmane Dembele up for sale.

Sport says the board have decided to cash in on the attacker, who is currently recovering from hamstring surgery.

Directors will meet with Dembele's agent in August, when the European season ends, to inform him of their decision.

Barca accept they will have to take a massive hit on the fee rising to €140m they paid Borussia Dortmund for Dembele three years ago. However, they do not see a future for the Frenchman and are eager to shift him on.

The news will be encouraging for Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp, who is eyeing Dembele after missing out on RB Leipzig striker Timo Werner, who is on the brink of joining Chelsea.
