Liverpool are demanding a response from UEFA over their failure to prevent pitch invasions.
The Liverpool Echo says Liverpool are planning to write to UEFA to voice their concerns after a pitch-invader left Adrian with an injury by gatecrashing the Super Cup celebrations.
The Reds were toasting their 5-4 penalty-shootout win over Chelsea at Istanbul's Vodafone Park on Wednesday night when a supporter leaped over the security barrier to try and join in the post-match party on the pitch.
However as the fan got closer to the Liverpool players, an untimely slip sent him hurtling into goalkeeper Adrian, who hurt his ankle in the resulting collision.
It leaves the Spaniard's participation against Southampton on Saturday in doubt with 35-year-old Andy Lonergan and Academy graduate Caoimhin Kelleher as the only other reserves, should the swollen ankle keep Adrian out.
