Liverpool defender Virgil van Dijk insists Mohamed Salah is not suffering second season blues.

The Holland captain claims he is not worried about his team-mate as Salah is trying his best.

Van Dijk told Premier League News: “I don't understand all the fuss about him not being at his best because I think last year he had the same number as he had right now and there wasn't any issue.

“Obviously he knows that he needs to try and do a little more than he is doing right now but he's giving his all and I'm not worried at all.

“I'm looking at the positive side."
