Liverpool defender Virgil van Dijk admits they must "improve" after victory over Champions League opponents RB Salzburg.
The Reds won 4-3 last night.
Van Dijk said, "There is room for improvement, that is beyond doubt.
“Salzburg has a good team, with a lot of movement in the front line. The second ball was always for them, especially in the second half. But I am nevertheless very happy that we managed to win in the end.
“They play good football, with a lot of pressure. And they just kept going, that certainly deserves appreciation. However, as a team we can do much better and this game is a sign that there is still a lot of work to be done."
