Liverpool defender Virgil van Dijk has congratulated Nathan Ake on his move to Manchester City.

Ake leaves Bournemouth for City for a fee rising to £41m.

And Holland teammate Van Dijk took to social media to state: "Happy for you bro!"

Van Dijk was responding to Ake confirming his transfer.

"Very excited to join @mancity. Can't wait to get started!" stated Ake.
