Liverpool defender Virgil van Dijk would be happy to face Ajax in the Champions League quarterfinals.

Van Dijk admits meeting the Dutch giants would be special.

After victory over Bayern Munich, the defender said: “I really don't care at all, we could be drawing an English club again.

"Ajax? That would be a nice game.

"But it would be difficult, because Ajax is doing fantastic in the Champions League."

Van Dijk added: "This is a fantastic victory, very nice that we are in the last eight. We defended well here and showed guts with the ball. We did that well, especially in the second half."
