Kolo Toure says the whole of there Ivory Coast is extremely proud of new Manchester United signing Eric Bailly.

United splashed a whopping £30million to secure the services of Bailly from Villarreal earlier this month and it goes without saying that there will be a lot of expectation on the shoulders of the 22-year-old at Old Trafford.

Ivory Coast veteran Toure is happy at Bailly being able to earn the dream move to United and has stated that the entire African nation is proud of the young defender.

Toure said: "We're proud of Eric.

"We're all very happy for his move to Manchester United. He's a calm guy who works a lot, and today, this work has been noticed by one of the biggest clubs in Europe.

"It's the whole country who's honoured."
