Liverpool defender Martin Skrtel is proud of his World Cup campaign.
Slovakia leave South Africa with memories of a famous victory over reigning champions Italy - and Skrtel is holding his head high.
"It is over for us. The World Cup is over. It's a pity since we really had a chance to beat Holland," the centre-back told liverpoolfc.tv.
"We are very sad now. But let's hold our heads high because I am really proud what we have achieved.
"We have showed the whole world that they need to look at us and I am really proud of these my teammates.
"I am proud to be Slovak, I am proud to be a member of this team. Let's enjoy this beautiful success."
