Liverpool defender Mamadou Sakho is keeping himself busy with charity work in Africa as he awaits to learn the verdict for his failed drugs test.

Sakho tested positive to a banned substance following Liverpool's Europa League victory over Manchester United in March and the defender is awaiting the verdict from UEFA regarding any potential punishment for his offence.

While UEFA mull over their decision, Sakho has been spending his time in humanitarian work and is currently in Ivory Coast to show his support for numerous charitable undertakings.

It is believed that he will learn his fate sometime in July.
