Nat Phillips annoyed his Stuttgart teammates when Liverpool were crowned Premier League champions last season.

The 23-year-old centre-back spent last season with the German club.

And Phillips says his Manchester City supporting teammates were on the end of some stick when his parent club won the title.

"When the lads officially won the League last year, I was still in Germany," Phillips says.

"I drove into the Stuttgart training ground blasting 'YNWA' from the car. Philipp Klement, who used to sit next to me, was a Man City fan so I wanted to make sure he knew what had happened!

"I saw how much it meant to those guys, and it made me feel jealous.

"It made me realise that I wanted to feel something like that one day."
