Liverpool defender Ibrahima Konate says there's confidence within the France squad over Raphael Varane's availability.
The Manchester United stopper is on track to make the final World Cup group game.
Konate said, "We are very calm about the situation with Varane.
"He is a player who possesses a lot of consistency – both at club and national team level. That's why we really need him during the final round.
"He'll probably be ready then."
Konaté is also set for a starting place when France meets Australia on Tuesday.
"There is a lot of competition for the starting places, and that's a good thing. I don't know if I'm going to start yet, but I'll give myself 1000% with the rest of the team no matter what," he added.
