Liverpool defender Martin Kelly is thrilled with his first England U21 call-up.
The Reds defender has been named in Stuart Pearce's squad for next week's friendly with Uzbekistan and he can't wait for the chance to show what he can do.
"I am really proud and can't wait to meet up with the squad on Sunday," Kelly told Liverpoolfc.tv.
"It is a great chance for me and hopefully I will get a chance to play. I just need to take the chance and then come back to Liverpool and try and force my way into the squad for our first game of the season."
