Liverpool defender Joe Gomez appeared to be booed during England's 7-0 win over Montenegro.
Gomez was involved in a scuffle with Raheem Sterling that resulted in the Manchester City star being suspended for Thursday's match. But a section of supporters were apparently not happy with the 20-year-old when replaced Mason Mount.
The London Evening Standard's football correspondent James Olley said of the incident: "It appeared as though Joe Gomez was booed by some supporters when coming on as a 71st-minute substitute for Mason Mount. I'm really not sure why.
"Television cameras showed Raheem Sterling applauding as Gomez walked on and the Liverpool defender has by all accounts behaved impeccably since Monday's incident at St George's Park."
