Liverpool's forgotten man Jose Enrique is wanted by West Bromwich Albion, reports the Liverpool Echo.

The Baggies have been following the case of the left-back since the start of the transfer window and manager Tony Pulis wants to complete a move for the 29-year-old ahead of the close of the transfer window on Tuesday.

The Spaniard earlier this month insisted that he wants to stay at Anfield and fight for his place but a move looks more likely now after he was told by Brendan Rodgers that he is not a part of Liverpool's plans going forward.
