Liverpool defender Trent Alexander-Arnold admits he's a Barcelona fan.

The academy graduate has spent his entire career so far at Anfield and already has over 200 senior appearances under his belt, despite being just 23 years of age.

“I would say that my other favourite team is Barcelona," he told British GQ.

“I feel that they have the same ideas and values as Liverpool. They like to bring players through the academy.

“I grew up watching [Lionel] Messi and that special Barcelona team with [Andres] Iniesta, Xavi [Hernandez], [Thierry] Henry and [Samuel] Eto'o."
