Liverpool could be without three key players for the visit of Arsenal in the Premier League on Saturday.
Sadio Mane and Jordan Henderson were both sent home from international duty with injuries, joining Roberto Firmino in the treatment room.
Liverpool captain Henderson scored and completed 90 minutes in the 5-0 victory against Albania on Friday.
He, along with Manchester City winger Jack Grealish, has returned to his club for further assessment on an unspecified injury.
Mane, meanwhile, limped out of Senegal's 1-1 draw with Togo on Thursday, although his injury has been described as "nothing serious" by his international manager Aliou Cisse.
The Reds will be desperate to get back to winning ways after suffering a 3-2 defeat against West Ham in the final game before the international break.
