Liverpool could announce the signing of Aberdeen defender Calvin Ramsay on Sunday.

Ramsay is undergoing the second part of his medical today on Merseyside.

The Reds agreed an initial £4m fee plus £2.5m in add-ons with Aberdeen for the Scotland U21s international this week.

The Liverpool Echo reports Ramsay began his medical on Friday night, with the majority of the procedure taking place on Saturday.

Should no problems emerge, Ramsay will then be confirmed as a Liverpool player having already agreed personal terms on a five-year contract.
