Liverpool will consider recalling Ben Woodburn from his loan spell with Sheffield United in January.
The Wales international has struggled to nail down a first team place under Chris Wilder this season.
Woodburn has played only 28 minutes of senior football since late August. And with the Blades currently fourth in the Championship, it is unlikely those minutes will increase significantly.
Liverpool brought Woodburn back to play the U23s against Derby County recently. And Goal claims the Reds are contemplating whether to exercise their option of cutting short Woodburn's season long loan.
Liverpool have not been able to replicate the same lethal attacking form as last season. And 19-year-old Woodburn would provide another option for Jurgen Klopp off the bench.
