Liverpool are considering recalling Ryan Kent from his German loan.

The Sun says Liverpool are worried about Kent's lack of progress at German outfit Freiburg and he could be loaned in England instead.

Wideman Kent chose the Bundesliga for a spell despite attracting interest from Championship clubs including Sheffield United, Middlesbrough and Leeds.

Kent, 21, has not even made struggling Freiburg's squad recently, which has alarmed the Reds where he is seen as a first-team player of the future.

A recall for January could now be on for the midfielder.
