Liverpool are confident they will seal a deal for Serbian striker Milan Jovanovic on a Bosman in the next few weeks.

A three-year deal was agreed with Jovanovic, 29, in February and he also passed a medical two months later.

Now a work permit has to be rubber stamped before he officially signs.
