Liverpool are aiming to sign two attacking players in the coming weeks.
The Evening Chronicle says Liverpool have agreed a fee to sign Newcastle wonderkid Bobby Clark.
Clark, 16, is the son of Toon legend Lee, who played for the Magpies between 1990-97, and also in 2005-06.
Clark's form for the youth side has also garnered interest from Chelsea and Manchester United.
But Liverpool are now in the driving seat and if Clark joins the plan is for him to spend the season with the under-18s, with the possibility of moving up to the under-23s.
Liverpool could also look to strengthen by signing Bournemouth's Arnaut Danjuma.
The Reds are believed to be one of several Premier League clubs interested in Danjuma, who proved to be a key player for Bournemouth in the last campaign.
As a result, the Cherries are looking for around £21.2million to let him go, says Marca.
